Theater

Allen has performed in a variety of musical theatre and theatre productions which included appearing as 'Eugene Fodor' in the Theater Under the Stars production of “Crazy For You”, 'Mayor Shinn's' understudy in the Royal City Musical Society’s production of “The Music Man”, and Jim Humble' in the First Impressions Theater Company's production of "Humble Boy".

Film, TV and Commercial

Allen has appeared in both principal and lead roles in a number of Independent Short Films, TV commercials and PSA’s. These included the role of the psychiatrist Dr Nicholls in ‘Missing Alice’, the sinister ‘Mr. Crookshank’ in ‘Dormancy’ and the discontented ‘Harry Weiss’ in 'Unique’. His commercial and PSA credits include Time Warner Cable and Worksafe BC.

Since 2004 he has also been the 'Master of Ceremonies' at the "Angels Off Broadway" concert to benefit the Living Through Loss Counseling Society of BC.

Training

Since embarking on his acting career, Allen has undertaken training with Studio 58, and the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has also trained with, and continues to train with Vancouver Theater Sports and as part of ‘The Audition Room’ training program with Michael Coleman at Shoreline Studios Inc.
